Movies, TV, Universities started with dissing Parents, then came Adults "over 30," then came the Military...and finally came the Police. 60 years of teaching SHAME to be a CITIZEN of these once UNITED STATES call it America...not the USA...furthers this JIVE or shuck... and we wonder now...why the world and now its RESIDENTS seem to have a difficult time in being PROUD. Corey, 40, most famous for starring in the 1987 teen cult flick The Lost Boys, tells ABC’s Nightline that pedophiles were like “vultures” when he was growing up in the entertainment industry.“The number one problem in Hollywood was, is and always will be pedophilia,” he said. “It’s all done under the radar… But it’s the big secret.” That’s a heavy accusation … and it definitely scares us for our favorite child stars on Disney, Nickelodeon, in films, and the music industry. Corey was best friends with the late actor and fellow child star Corey Haim, and he claims Corey’s depression stemmed partly from being molested as a child by people in the “industry.” “There was a circle of older men that surrounded themselves around this group of kids,” he says. “They all had either their own power, or connections to great power in the entertainment industry.” This is incredibly disheartening and we’re hoping it’s not as rampant now as it was when Corey was coming along. “There’s a lot of good people in this industry, but there’s also a lot of really, really sick, corrupt people in this industry,” Corey says. “There are people… who have gotten away with [pedophilia] for so long that they feel that they’re above the law. And that’s gotta change. That’s gotta stop.”
