1924-1965 No Immigration...and then along came the Democrats - too stupid to know they are communists...a few know.

America FIRST....if you benefit US, then you are welcomed!  that was yesterday. 

 Case in point.  My Father Sam's twin brother, my uncle....

was NOT allowed into our country....

While at Ellis Island my uncle was discover to have LICE...he was sent back.....I never met my uncle.

People today have NO clue that once upon a time....1924-1965 there was, literally....NO immigration.

              then...along came the Democrats...to stupid to know...they are...well you know...

NEW YORK (AP) - It was considered a symbolic move - President Lyndon Johnson going to the Statue of Liberty and signing an immigration bill that gave people from every country in the world an equal chance to come to America.

The president himself described the legislation as less than revolutionary. “It does not affect the lives of millions. It will not reshape the structure of our daily lives, or really add importantly to either our wealth or our power,” he said during the ceremony on Oct. 3, 1965.

But, he noted, the new law also would “strengthen us in a hundred unseen ways.”

The Event: Severe worldwide economic downturn that intensified anti-immigrant nativism within the United States

Date: 1929-1941

Significance: Immigration was a thorny issue during the Depression. Legislation was already in place barring certain ethnic groups from entering the United States, and immigration remained restricted during the era owing to economic factors. Many refugees fleeing Nazi persecution were denied entrance to the United States because of ethnic quotas.
