join the military....
Under existing law, illegal aliens are forbidden from joining the military, however, the Secretary of Defense does have some discretion if it is “vital to the national interest”. But in order to be eligible for MAVNI, illegal aliens have to pass a background check, and the woman who create MAVNI said back in May that DACA recipients would in all likelihood fail the background check. We fully expect the Administration to find a way around it.

WASHINGTON, DC (October 1, 2014) — Look up "likely
visa overstay" in the dictionary, and you should find a picture of Thomas Eric Duncan, the
Liberian man who is the first Ebola case diagnosed within the United
States, and who is now being treated in a Dallas hospital. This
looks like another good case for the consular officers training
manual of a non-immigrant visa that never should have been issued,
but which could have serious public health consequences, not to
mention monetary costs. According to his Facebook page and other reports, Duncan is a
40-something, single, unemployed Liberian living in Ghana who
applied sometime in the last year for a visa to visit his sister in
the United States. It was reportedly his first time visiting this
country. That is six strikes against his application:
- Single
- Unemployed
- Liberian (5th highest overstay rate of any country in the world)
- Living outside country of citizenship
- First time traveler to the United States
- Sister living in the United States....

Although Congress heard the American people and did not bring the ENLIST Act or any other enlistment amnesty to the floor, the Obama Administration, on Wednesday, issued the first of what we believe will be a string of unconstitutional actions on immigration. His leaders at the Defense Department announced that illegal immigrants covered by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) can now be targeted by military recruiters and granted amnesty if they join. At a time when the Army is issuing pink slips to soldiers on the front lines, the Obama administration has decided that enlisting illegals who broke our country's laws should be a national priority. It is disgraceful for President Obama to use our military as a venue for his political priorities. He jeopardizes our national security and further undermines the rule of law. While the administration pushed forward on amnesty, the media focused on Attorney General Eric Holder's resignation. During his tenure at the Justice Department, Holder provided lawyers for illegals, harassed schools struggling to absorb illegal students, and helped formulate the president's soon-to-be-revealed executive actions to weaken immigration law enforcement. In his hands, our laws were nothing but a tool to be used to achieve political objectives. Congress needs to know that the American people reject the president's misuse of his power as commander-in-chief and enforcer of the laws. Contact your representative and senators by email or calling their district offices. Demand that they prevent our military from being used as a vehicle for amnesty. Tell your senators that the next Attorney General must be committed to enforcing our immigration laws, not finding ways around them. Excerpt: The Arellano and Aguirre cases prove that even serial immigration offenders can often live here for many years, bolstered by our system of second, third, fourth, and fifth chances, an enforcement apparatus that is overwhelmed and undermanned, and their own sense of entitlement. Let's assume for the sake of argument that Aguirre has turned his life around, and that the recent DUI charge isn't indicative of his character. Let's say that he's an asset to his community. Should he be allowed to stay? Without knowing more about the details of his case, I wouldn't argue that he should be barred from ever returning to the U.S., but if you fail to deport a repeat offender like him it makes a mockery of the legal immigration process. It sends the message to would-be offenders that we aren't serious about enforcing our laws and it would prove the point that migrants can take the law into their own hands...
